Information We Collect
When you use REEF, we collect the following data: public information obtained when you log in via Discord (display name, user image, communities you have joined); settings you enter in the Dashboard (social links, custom domain, etc.); image URLs uploaded in 📎・assets; payment information (processed by Stripe — REEF does not directly store credit card data).
How We Use Your Information
We use your data to: provide and maintain the REEF service; display public Coral Profile pages; process subscription payments; improve service quality and user experience. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data Storage
Your server settings and contact data are stored in a secure cloud environment managed by CVER Inc. Payment information is processed by Stripe. User images are served via third-party CDN and are not stored on our servers.
Data Sharing
We only share your data in the following circumstances: Coral Profile information you choose to make public; information required for payment processing via Stripe; when required by law.
Cookies
REEF uses the following cookies: session cookie (login state); language preference; referral cookie (referral tracking); analytics cookie (enabled with consent). All cookies are set with SameSite=Lax and Secure flags.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access the data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to data processing; data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at hi@cver.net or use the 'Delete My Data' feature in Dashboard Settings.
Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your data at any time. Click 'Delete My Data' in Dashboard Settings to initiate the deletion process. We will delete all data associated with you within 30 days, including server settings, contact records, and subscription information. Some anonymized statistical data may be retained.
Children's Privacy
REEF is not directed at children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
Data Retention
Active account data is retained as long as you use the service. If your account is inactive for 12 months or more, your data may be flagged for review and eventual deletion. Upon account deletion, all associated data is removed within 30 days, except anonymized statistical data which may be retained indefinitely.
Automated Processing
REEF uses the following automated processing: automatic role synchronization (assigning or removing Discord roles based on Email Role Mapping); inactivity detection (accounts inactive for 12+ months are flagged for review); scheduled tasks (periodic statistics and notifications). These automated processes do not produce decisions with significant impact on you. You may request human review of any automated decision via hi@cver.net.
Sub-processors
REEF uses the following third-party services to process your data: Stripe (payment processing); Discord API (authentication and community features); Google Cloud / Google Sheets API (data storage); third-party CDN (user image delivery); Google Analytics (website analytics, only enabled with your consent, IP anonymized).
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt-out of the sale of personal information. REEF does not sell personal information.
Policy Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via Discord. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
